Understanding the digital future of higher education is not so much about the latest Web 2.0 and "net generation" trends as it is about the confluence of a wide range of factors --economic and political as well as technological and demographic. This conference provides an opportunity to explore questions raised by these interrelated developments. The event will also address the open and technically-mediated teaching that institutions, whether new or established, are increasingly expected to provide. Keynote presentations from international experts will be featured, including Dr. Tony Bates, author of Effective Teaching with Technology in Higher Education, and Professor Michael A. Peters, author of Knowledge Economy, Development and the Future of Higher Education. These presentations will be combined with discussion and debates involving researchers, practitioners and audience members, with reflections and responses from decision makers and stakeholders rounding out the day.

Greetings,

The next Moodle for Teachers (M4T-3) free 4-week online workshop will begin on January 4, 2010 and will end on January 31st. Please register at http://www.integrating-technology.com/pd/course/view.php?id=62 and use the following key: Learningly2

The aim of M4T-3 online workshop is to help you learn how to create and manage Moodle courses. The workshop demands at least 2-3 hours of course work a week.

Thank you.
